This is a new, special limited edition vinyl LP pressing of Genesis’ seventh studio album, the 1976 A Trick of the Tail.

This album is notably the first with drummer Phil Collins taking lead vocals after Peter Gabriel amicably departed the band. While Collins was initially reluctant to sing, his powerful vocals and the band’s tightly practiced sound propelled the album to a smashing success — peaking at no 3 in the U.K.

Genesis have always been known as much for their ambitious studio albums as their sense of spectacle and ground breaking live shows. Over the last four decades, the group has sold 150 million albums worldwide, influencing the likes of Elbow, Flaming Lips and Jeff Buckley.
