For 25 years, Yeah Yeah Yeahs have built one of modern rock’s most distinctive catalogues. Hidden In Pieces: Live At The Royal Albert Hall revisits songs from across their career, transforming familiar favourites through intimate arrangements for strings, piano and double bass.
Recorded across two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the album finds Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase presenting songs including “Maps,” “Gold Lion,” “Zero,” “Blacktop” and “Spitting Off The Edge Of The World” in a striking new light. Additional performances recorded in San Diego, Chicago, New York and Mexico City expand the collection beyond the central Royal Albert Hall concerts.
Conceived as part of the band’s Hidden In Pieces tour, the performances feature arrangements by musical director, arranger and conductor Jherek Bischoff. This limited edition is pressed across two records on red and black Bullseye Splatter vinyl.
