General Information

The Vinyl Store operates as an online-only business. Warehouse pickup is not available.

We use Australia Post for all deliveries and apply flat-rate shipping for fairness and transparency across all orders.

All orders are packed with care using industry-standard packaging to ensure safe delivery.


Processing & Dispatch Times

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days under normal operating conditions.

During peak periods (such as sales events, holidays, or public holiday disruptions), dispatch times may be slightly extended. We appreciate your patience during these times.

Once dispatched, delivery timeframes are determined by Australia Post or the relevant international carrier.


Shipping Within Australia

Standard Shipping

  • Flat rate: $12.95 per order
  • Delivery time: As per Australia Post standard service

Express Shipping

  • Express refers to the delivery service only
  • Orders are still processed within standard dispatch timeframes

International Shipping

Standard Shipping

  • Flat rate: $30 per order
  • Delivery times vary depending on destination and local postal services

All international orders:

  • Are shipped via Australia Post and partner carriers
  • May be subject to customs processing delays

Customs, Duties & Taxes

The full value of your order is declared for customs purposes.

Any import duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable by The Vinyl Store.


Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details within approximately 4 business days of placing your order.

You can track your parcel via:

  • The link provided in your email
  • The Australia Post tracking website

Delivery Conditions

  • Signature may be required upon delivery
  • If unavailable, Australia Post may leave instructions for collection

We are not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays caused by carriers
  • Incorrect delivery addresses provided at checkout
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Address Changes

If your order has already been shipped, address changes must be handled directly through Australia Post where possible.


Out of Stock Items

If an item becomes unavailable after purchase:

  • You will be notified
  • You may choose a refund or waitlist option

Delivery Timeframes & Order Cancellation

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–4 business days, though in some cases this may extend up to 10 business days.

If your order cannot be fulfilled within 30 days, you may cancel for a full refund.


Shipping Insurance (Optional)

Customers may opt into shipping insurance at checkout.

  • Covers loss, theft, or damage in transit
  • Provided via a third-party insurer (Ship-Safely)
  • Claims are handled directly through the insurer

If a claim is approved:

  • Replacement will be issued where possible
  • Otherwise, a refund will be provided

Shipping insurance is strongly recommended, particularly for international orders.
