Weezer return with Weezer, better known as the Gold Album, the band's 20th studio album and the latest addition to their celebrated series of self-titled, colour-coded records.

Following the Blue, Green, Red, White, Teal and Black albums, the Gold Album finds Weezer returning to the collaborative spirit at the heart of the band's earliest days. After completing a sold-out 30th anniversary tour celebrating their iconic debut album, the group reconvened in Orange County, California, setting themselves up in a rehearsal space to play, write and develop new material together.

The result is one of the most collaborative Weezer records to date, with the band members taking turns contributing songs and writing together. Rather than building the album around a single creative approach, the sessions allowed ideas to develop organically through the chemistry of the full band.

Produced by Kenneth Blume and Klas Åhlund, the album continues Weezer's remarkable multi-decade run while reconnecting with the direct, band-in-a-room approach that helped define their beginnings. The acclaimed single Shine Again offers an early taste of the record, combining the melodic hooks, guitars and unmistakable character that have made Weezer one of alternative rock's most enduring bands.
