Waxahatchee Saint Cloud

Waxahatchee’s Saint Cloud is a stunning artistic breakthrough—an album of clarity, tenderness, and hard-won self-understanding that stands among the most celebrated releases of the 2020s. Written as Katie Crutchfield entered sobriety and sought a new sense of grounding, the record is filled with songs that feel open, honest, and luminously alive.

Drawing inspiration from Americana, folk, and classic country, Saint Cloud trades Waxahatchee’s earlier indie-rock grit for warm acoustic textures, gentle grooves, and vivid storytelling. Tracks like “Fire,” “Lilacs,” and “Can’t Do Much” showcase Crutchfield’s songwriting at its most direct and emotionally resonant, pairing poetic detail with melodies that linger long after the needle lifts.

Praised for its intimacy and sense of renewal, the album has become a modern classic—an ode to clarity, resilience, and the quiet revelations of everyday life. Pressed on vinyl LP, this edition brings extra warmth and depth to the album’s beautifully organic production, making it the perfect format to fully absorb its glow.

Quietly powerful yet endlessly replayable, Saint Cloud is Waxahatchee at her very best.
