Description

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of The Beasts of Suburban, this expansive Pearl Anniversary box set revisits the mini-album that helped launch TISM into Australia-wide infamy.

Originally released in 1992, the record features seven characteristically provocative tracks, including “Michael Jackson’s Conveyor Belt,” “Get Thee to a Nunnery,” the Nicky Winmar and Tony Lockett-inspired “Father and Son,” live favourite “Lillee Caught Dilley Bowled Milli Vanilli” and the Melbourne cult classic “Mourningtown Ride.”

The original mini-album is expanded with four songs previously exclusive to its iTunes edition and 48 previously unavailable recordings. These include alternative mixes, radically different versions, studio experiments and songs from the period that have never previously appeared in any form.

Presented across four vinyl records, the limited Pearl Anniversary Edition comprises a gatefold LP and three additional 12-inch records housed in a triple-gatefold sleeve.
