Originally released in November 1994, Don't Ask is the landmark album that re-established Tina Arena as one of Australia's most celebrated recording artists. Driven by the extraordinary success of Chains, the album became a defining Australian release of the 1990s and remains one of Arena's most acclaimed works.

Featuring six singles, Don't Ask earned an incredible 10 ARIA Award nominations across 1995 and 1996, winning five awards including the coveted Album of the Year. Tina Arena became the first female artist to win the award, further cementing the album's place in Australian music history. Arena was subsequently inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2015.

Three decades later, Don't Ask has achieved 10× Platinum status in Australia, as well as Platinum certification in New Zealand and Gold in the UK. This 30th Anniversary Edition celebrates its enduring legacy with a striking Translucent Red Vinyl LP pressing.

The anniversary arrives as Tina Arena celebrates an extraordinary 50 years in the spotlight, with the feature documentary Tina Arena: Unravel Me coming to Australian cinemas on 27 August 2026, following its world premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
