This Is Lorelei The Singer In My Band

This Is Lorelei—the solo project of Water From Your Eyes’ Nate Amos—returns with The Singer In My Band, his debut album for Matador Records. Following the breakout success of Box For Buddy, Box For Star, whose songs were later covered by Cameron Winter and MJ Lenderman, the album marks another compelling chapter in Amos’ prolific body of work.

Written and recorded primarily in the apartment where Amos has created much of his music, the album was completed at his parents’ home in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Amos engineered, produced and performed almost everything himself, joined by his father, bluegrass musician Bob Amos, on the title track’s blistering banjo lead, with additional vocals from Sarah Amos and Al Nardo.

Following sold-out Australian shows and a rapturously received appearance at Meredith Music Festival, The Singer In My Band arrives as an indie-exclusive edition pressed on 150-gram white vinyl.
