The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1

Originally released in 1988, Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 is the Grammy Award-winning debut from the legendary supergroup featuring George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison.
The project began when Harrison needed a B-side for a single from his Cloud Nine album. An informal recording session at Dylan’s home produced “Handle With Care,” and the chemistry between the five musicians soon inspired a complete album. Adopting fictional identities as the Wilbury brothers, they created a relaxed collection blending rock, folk and country with playful songwriting and effortless vocal interplay.
Featuring the enduring hits “Handle With Care” and “End Of The Line,” the album was both a commercial and critical success. It was the only Traveling Wilburys album to feature Roy Orbison and the final album released during his lifetime.
This vinyl edition features the 2016 remaster.
