Description
Joy is the third and final studio album from Melbourne post-punk trio The Peep Tempel. Fierce, unsettling and darkly compelling, the record pairs jagged guitars and driving rhythms with Blake Scott’s biting observations of Australian life.
Led by the relentless “Rayguns” and the brooding intensity of tracks such as “Totality” and “Constable,” Joy delivers an uncompromising exploration of frustration, alienation and the darker corners of the Australian psyche. Its abrasive energy and vivid storytelling capture the band at their most focused and confrontational.
Originally released in 2016, Joy is presented here on blue vinyl.
