Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Car Button Cloth, the acclaimed sixth studio album from The Lemonheads, with this Limited Edition 150g White Vinyl reissue.
Originally released in 1996, Car Button Cloth stands as one of Evan Dando's finest achievements, effortlessly blending heartfelt alternative rock, jangly pop melodies and introspective songwriting. Shifting between moments of emotional vulnerability and infectious guitar-driven hooks, the album captures The Lemonheads at their creative peak.
Featuring fan favourites including If I Could Talk I'd Tell You, The Outdoor Type, Hospital and It's All True, the album also includes a memorable interpretation of the traditional bluegrass classic Knoxville Girl. The Outdoor Type, written by Tom Morgan of Australian band Smudge, became one of the group's signature songs, while If I Could Talk I'd Tell You, co-written with Eugene Kelly of The Vaselines, showcases the band's gift for bittersweet pop craftsmanship.
This 30th Anniversary Edition is pressed on Limited 150g White Vinyl and continues Fire Records' acclaimed series of expanded Lemonheads reissues. In addition to the original album, the release includes a bonus digital download featuring rare recordings, alternate versions and previously unreleased material.
