Surprise Chef Frogs In A Pond

Surprise Chef explore shared human experiences through evocative instrumental storytelling on Frogs In A Pond. Drawing inspiration from European film composers of the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Australian quintet create a cinematic landscape of moods, textures and emotions.

Across 13 tracks, the album invites listeners to imagine their own scenes and stories, capturing the emotional power of a film score without needing the film itself. It’s an expressive collection that brings Surprise Chef’s distinctive musical perspective into focus.
