Skid Row Slave To The Grind

Originally released in June 1991, Slave To The Grind is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Skid Row.
Heavier and more aggressive than the band’s self-titled debut, the album moved beyond many of the era’s familiar hard-rock conventions with darker lyrics, muscular riffs and Sebastian Bach’s commanding vocal performance. Highlights include “Monkey Business,” “Quicksand Jesus,” “In A Darkened Room,” “Wasted Time” and the blistering title track.
Slave To The Grind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the first heavy metal album to achieve the position during the Nielsen SoundScan era. It was later certified double platinum in the United States.
This reissue presents the album across two orange and black marbled vinyl records.
