Originally released in 1991, Cuisine (With Piscatorial) finds Australian electronic pioneers Severed Heads at their most inventive, balancing razor-sharp synth-pop with experimental sound collage in one of the band's most distinctive and ambitious releases.

Led by Tom Ellard, Severed Heads became one of Australia's most influential electronic acts, renowned for their unconventional blend of industrial experimentation, tape manipulation, infectious melodies and irreverent humour. On Cuisine (With Piscatorial), the band deliberately stepped away from the dancefloor-driven electronic music of the era, instead crafting a collection of concise, hook-filled songs alongside a series of wildly experimental pieces that showcase their fearless approach to sound.

Highlights including Pilot In Hell and Ugly Twenties deliver brilliantly skewed synth-pop, while the surreal Piscatorial suite explores fragmented tape edits, vintage jazz samples and avant-garde composition. Together, the album offers a witty and thought-provoking commentary on music, consumer culture and artistic experimentation.

This expanded edition marks the first-ever vinyl release of Cuisine (With Piscatorial), pressed across two 150g LPs. It also includes the previously unreleased early version of Seven Of Oceans and a 6-page booklet featuring liner notes, lyrics and archival press clippings.
