Originally released in 1994, Bakesale is the acclaimed fifth studio album from Sebadoh and one of the defining releases of the American indie rock movement of the 1990s.

The album marked a significant evolution for the band, expanding beyond the intimate lo-fi and acoustic approach of their earlier recordings towards a fuller, more powerful guitar-driven sound.
