The Rolling Stones’ Aftermath (US Edition) returns on 180g clear vinyl for RSD Black Friday 2026, complete with an exclusive lithograph print.
Originally released in 1966, Aftermath marked a milestone as the band’s first album composed entirely of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards originals. The US edition opens with “Paint It, Black”, its insistent rhythm and Brian Jones’ distinctive sitar setting the tone for a collection that expands the Stones’ blues-rooted sound.
Featuring “Under My Thumb”, “Lady Jane” and “I Am Waiting”, the album balances sharp songwriting with adventurous instrumentation. This edition is mastered directly from the original 1966 Decca flat stereo tape sources prepared for US London Records mastering, using an all-analogue chain.
