Queens Of The Stone Age Perfecth

Queens Of The Stone Age return with Perfecth, their ninth studio album and a record shaped by hard-won clarity, survival and renewal.

Across nine songs, the band explores different forms of love—family, friendship, romance and fleeting human connections. These are the loves that can break someone beyond recognition and those capable of putting them back together.

Recording began following the band’s Catacombs project, a cinematic and cathartic reimagining of their catalogue filmed in an ossuary beneath Paris. Energised by its reception, Queens headed to New Orleans immediately before Mardi Gras, deliberately immersing themselves in the city’s chaos. The sessions include “Sunday,” a Josh Homme and Iggy Pop co-write originally featured on Pop’s Post Pop Depression.

The title reflects Homme’s rejection of perfection as something real or honest. By breaking the word and rebuilding it as Perfecth, the band gives an impossible idea a more fitting name.
