Queen Budapest celebrates the 40th anniversary of the band’s landmark concert at Budapest’s Népstadion on 27 July 1986, during The Magic Tour. Performed before a sold-out crowd of 80,000, the show brought Queen’s spectacular live sound to fans behind the Iron Curtain at a time of significant cultural and political change.
Featuring “One Vision,” “A Kind Of Magic,” “Under Pressure,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Radio Ga Ga,” the set captures Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon in commanding form. Intimate moments including “Love Of My Life” and the Hungarian folk song “Tavaszi Szél Vizet Áraszt” sit alongside the triumphant closing anthems “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions.”
This anniversary edition features newly remixed audio from the original multitrack recordings, bringing fresh detail to a remarkable performance from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury.
Presented on three heavyweight 180g black vinyl LPs, housed in a gatefold sleeve with a special vinyl slipcase.
