Northlane’s Anemoia pushes the band’s electronic metal into expansive new territory, presented on 150g “Otherside” cloudy vinyl. Their seventh album is executive produced by Jordan Fish and brings the emotional intensity of trance together with the cathartic force of heavy music.
Inspired by a transformative set from UK producer and DJ Evian Christ, guitarist and songwriter Jon Deiley explored how euphoric electronic sounds could work naturally alongside guitars. Across ten tracks, trance, drum-and-bass, jungle and pop collide with seismic breakdowns and intricate grooves, forming a restless but distinctly Northlane sound.
Featuring “Pierce The Sky”, “NEED2FEEL” and “The Otherside”, the album closes with the title track featuring Dayseeker. Anemoia balances atmosphere, melody and physical impact in a collection built for immersive listening.
