Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts As Time Explodes

As Time Explodes captures Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts live on stage during their acclaimed 2025 European and North American tour, following the release of Talkin To The Trees. Drawn from multiple performances across the 31-date run, the album showcases the enduring power of Neil Young's live performances alongside his latest touring band.

The tour included appearances at some of the world's most celebrated music events and venues, including Glastonbury Festival, London's Hyde Park and Switzerland's legendary Montreux Jazz Festival. Across 13 tracks, Young and The Chrome Hearts deliver a set spanning more than five decades of songwriting, bringing together beloved classics, fan favourites and newer material.

The collection features iconic songs such as Ohio, After The Gold Rush, Harvest Moon, Like A Hurricane, Cortez The Killer and Vampire Blues, alongside selections from 2025's Talkin To The Trees, including Silver Eagle. Also included is the previously unreleased song Big Crime, as well as several tracks rarely featured on recent Neil Young live releases, including Long Walk Home, Daddy Went Walking, Be The Rain and Name Of Love.

Joining Neil Young are The Chrome Hearts: Spooner Oldham on organ and piano, Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, and Anthony LoGerfo on drums and vocals. Together they deliver a dynamic and deeply engaging live performance that celebrates Young's extraordinary catalogue while highlighting the chemistry of this outstanding band.
