Originally released in October 2006, The Black Parade is the landmark third studio album from My Chemical Romance. A theatrical rock opera, the album follows a terminally ill character known as The Patient as he reflects on his life and begins his passage into the afterlife.
Produced by Rob Cavallo, the album combines alternative rock, emo, punk and arena-sized theatricality across enduring tracks including “Welcome To The Black Parade,” “Famous Last Words,” “Teenagers,” “I Don’t Love You” and “Cancer.” Its ambitious storytelling and dramatic sound established The Black Parade as one of the defining rock albums of the 2000s.
Celebrating the album’s 20th anniversary, this limited edition presents the original 14-track album on a single 140g Concrete Grey vinyl LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with a removable O-card, new art insert and printed inner sleeve.
