Celebrating two decades of one of Motörhead's fiercest late-period releases, Kiss of Death returns in a special 20th Anniversary Edition featuring newly remastered audio and an exclusive bonus live album.
Originally released in 2006, Kiss of Death was the band's 18th studio album and the follow-up to the acclaimed Inferno. With Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee firing on all cylinders, the album delivered exactly what fans expected from Motörhead: thunderous riffs, relentless energy and uncompromising heavy rock'n'roll.
Packed with standout tracks including Sucker, Be My Baby, Kingdom Of The Worm and the fan-favourite God Was Never On Your Side, the album showcased a band still operating at full power more than three decades into their career. Guest appearances from Mike Inez (Alice In Chains) and C.C. DeVille (Poison) add further depth to one of Motörhead's strongest 2000s releases.
For this 20th Anniversary Edition, Kiss of Death has been newly half-speed mastered from the original tapes, delivering enhanced audio clarity while preserving the raw intensity that defines the album. The package also includes liner notes by Classic Rock writer Dave Ling.
Completing the set is an exclusive bonus live LP featuring Motörhead's blistering 2007 performance at the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands. Available on vinyl for the first time, the live recording captures the band in full flight and provides a fitting companion to the studio album.
A must-have for longtime fans and collectors, this expanded anniversary edition celebrates one of the standout releases from Motörhead's later years.
