Kontravoid Sound of the Void

Kontravoid returns with Sound of the Void, a compelling new album that draws listeners deep into his shadowy electronic world. Released through Toronto industrial label Artoffact Records, it marks his second full-length album for the label.

Across ten tracks, haunting coldwave atmospheres collide with harsh EBM basslines, pounding electro rhythms and moments of dark, melancholy melody. Tracks including “Without,” “Mortal” and “Phantom” move between brooding introspection and the physical intensity of an underground dancefloor.

Bleak, hypnotic and meticulously constructed, Sound of the Void further establishes Kontravoid as one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary darkwave and industrial electronic music.
