Karnivool’s Sound Awake arrives on coloured vinyl for the first time with “The Caudal Bluer” edition, pressed on 180g black, white and blue splatter double vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve.
Originally released in 2009, the Australian band’s second album marked a major evolution in their sound, bringing together alternative metal, progressive rock and intricate rhythmic arrangements. Shifting time signatures and expansive song structures sit alongside memorable melodies, balancing technical precision with emotional impact.
Featuring “Goliath”, “Set Fire To The Hive” and the soaring “New Day”, Sound Awake captures the depth and ambition that earned Karnivool a devoted international following. From the commanding opening of “Simple Boy” to the extended closing journey of “Deadman” and “Change”, it’s an album made for immersive listening.
