Julia Jacklin The Gem

Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin returns with The Gem, her highly anticipated fourth studio album and first release for acclaimed independent label 4AD.

Widely regarded as one of Australia's most compelling songwriters, Jacklin has built an international following through her emotionally direct lyricism, captivating performances and unmistakable voice. Across a celebrated catalogue that includes Don't Let The Kids Win, Crushing and Pre Pleasure, she has earned a reputation for creating deeply personal songs that resonate with honesty, vulnerability and remarkable emotional depth.

The album takes listeners on a heartfelt journey of self-discovery, trust and personal growth, exploring what it means to reconnect with your instincts and return to your truest self. Balancing intimacy with confidence, the songs reflect an artist embracing change while remaining grounded in the authenticity that has defined her work from the beginning.

Already supported by major international touring announcements following appearances alongside Mitski and Lorde, The Gem further cements Julia Jacklin's status as one of the most important and respected voices in contemporary indie music.

Presented across two 150g vinyl records, The Gem is an essential release for fans of thoughtful, emotionally rich singer-songwriter and indie-folk music.
