Geese Projector

Projector is the debut studio album from Brooklyn band Geese, capturing the raw ambition and restless energy of a group of teenage friends whose experiments in a makeshift basement studio would introduce one of New York's most exciting new rock bands.

Originally released in 2021, Projector grew from Geese's determination to make music by whatever means were available — recording with improvised mic stands, blankets draped over amplifiers and sessions squeezed in around school. That DIY beginning translates into an album filled with youthful urgency, uncertainty and frustration about coming of age in an increasingly unpredictable world.

Across nine tracks, Geese combine indie rock, post-punk and art rock with angular guitars, shifting rhythms and an adventurous approach to songwriting. Tracks including Low Era, Disco, Rain Dance and the title track reveal a band already willing to stretch beyond conventional guitar music, laying the foundations for the increasingly experimental records that followed.

This special 2026 Indie Exclusive Edition is pressed on Opaque Orange Vinyl, offering a striking new edition of the album where the Geese story began.
