Fat Dog return with Cancel Me (I’m Tired), an exhilarating second album that pushes the band’s explosive sound into even stranger and more ambitious territory.
Across ten mind-bending yet melodic tracks, the London group tears through electro-punk, art-pop, rave, rock ’n’ roll and psychedelia, adding bombastic strings and unexpected flashes of space-country along the way. The result is a swaggering, panoramic record that constantly reinvents itself while retaining the chaotic energy and irresistible momentum at the heart of Fat Dog’s music.
Led by the title track—named BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record—Cancel Me (I’m Tired) captures a band gleefully disregarding genre boundaries and charging headfirst into its next chapter.
