Teenage Love is Cold Chisel’s compelling archival release, originally issued in 1994, collecting demos, offcuts and previously unreleased recordings from the band’s explosive first decade (1973–1983). During that era, Cold Chisel were operating at full throttle — writing, recording and touring with relentless intensity — leaving behind a wealth of powerful material that never made it onto their studio albums.

More than a decade after the legendary Last Stand shows, Don Walker and the band’s management revisited the vaults. What they uncovered surprised even the band themselves: recordings brimming with urgency, grit and emotional immediacy — capturing the same raw electricity that defined their live performances. Rather than polish or modernise the tracks, Teenage Love presents them largely as they were originally recorded, preserving their authenticity and edge.

Initially released on CD only, the album first appeared on vinyl in 2014 as part of the Cold Chisel vinyl box set. This 2LP edition marks a rare opportunity to own Teenage Love as a standalone vinyl release — an essential chapter in the Cold Chisel story and a must-have for dedicated fans of one of Australia’s most iconic rock bands.
