Casey Barnes Made For This

Made For This is the eighth studio album from Australian country artist Casey Barnes, capturing the singer-songwriter at his most confident with a combination of stadium-sized country rock and deeply personal songwriting.

Built around themes of resilience, determination and pushing forward through life's challenges, Made For This expands on the energetic sound that has become a hallmark of Barnes' career while also making room for some of his most reflective material.

The album was produced largely by award-winning duo MSquared — Michael DeLorenzis and Michael Paynter — with additional production contributions from Andy Skib and Mitch Thompson.

Among the highlights are the singles Rough Around The Edges, Buy That Girl A Beer and the title track Made For This, alongside Time To Burn, a collaboration with acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Pete Murray. The album's upbeat side continues with She Does, A Different Song and the infectious Tiptoe, while The Woman That You Are provides a more heartfelt change of pace.

At the centre of the record is Still In The Fight, an uplifting song about perseverance that brings together the album's central themes with soaring production and one of Barnes' most powerful vocal performances.
