Brandon Flowers Thrasher

Brandon Flowers returns with Thrasher, his first solo album in more than a decade and his most personal and vulnerable collection of songs to date.

Rooted in memories of his formative childhood years in the small town of Nephi, Utah, the album places Flowers’ distinctive songwriting within a timeless, Nashville-inspired sound. Thrasher was recorded at the historic RCA Studio A with longtime producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado.

The sessions feature an exceptional cast of musicians, including acclaimed guitarist and longtime Gillian Welch collaborator David Rawlings, influential pedal-steel player Bruce Bouton and legendary harmonica player Charlie McCoy, whose work can be heard across Bob Dylan’s celebrated Nashville recordings.

Released through Island Records, this Indie Exclusive edition is pressed on Ground Red coloured vinyl.
