MTV Unplugged captures Bob Dylan in an intimate live setting, recorded in 1994 for the iconic MTV Unplugged series and originally released in 1995. Stripping back his sound while revisiting his legendary catalogue, Dylan delivers a powerful performance that highlights the enduring strength of his songwriting.

Backed by a full acoustic-leaning band, the album features reinterpretations of some of his most celebrated songs, including “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and “All Along the Watchtower.” Alongside these classics, the set includes “Dignity,” newly released at the time, as well as “John Brown,” a poignant anti-war composition dating back to the early 1960s.

Rather than a strictly traditional unplugged performance, the album blends acoustic textures with subtle electric elements, giving the songs a fresh perspective while maintaining their emotional core.
