The Beatles’ Rubber Soul (US Edition) returns on limited edition 180g gold vinyl, exclusively released for RSD Black Friday 2026. This edition recreates the distinctive American version originally issued by Capitol Records in 1965.
Featuring a different selection and running order from its UK counterpart, the US album opens with “I’ve Just Seen A Face”, while “It’s Only Love” begins Side B. Both songs were drawn from the UK edition of Help!, giving this sequence its own character alongside favourites including “Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)”, “Michelle” and “In My Life”.
Audio is sourced from the original 1965 US production master, with reference to contemporary mastering notes, and lacquers cut by Kevin Reeves at Nashville’s East Iris Studios. The gold vinyl is housed in a poly-lined inner bag within a single outer sleeve replicating the original US release.
