Beasts Of Bourbon Sour Mash

Beasts Of Bourbon’s Sour Mash brings grinding guitars, brooding rhythms and blues-soaked vocals together on limited edition pink vinyl. Originally released in 1988 on Red Eye Records, the album expands the raw energy of their earlier work into heavier, more unsettling territory.

From “Hard Work Drivin’ Man” and “Hard For You” to “The Hate Inside” and “Pig”, the songs balance loose performances with a persistent undercurrent of tension. Slow-burning grooves and distorted guitar textures create a late-night atmosphere, while the worn vocal delivery gives the music its gritty character.

Across 13 tracks, Sour Mash stretches the band’s blues and rock roots into something darker and more immersive—a compelling chapter in the Beasts Of Bourbon catalogue.
