Beasts Of Bourbon’s Black Milk explores the band’s darker, more deliberate side, presented here on limited edition aqua vinyl. Originally released in 1990 on Red Eye Records, the album draws its power from heavy rhythms, weathered guitars and an atmosphere of simmering tension.
The songs unfold with a slow, insistent pull, leaving space for each riff and vocal to linger. From the title track and “Cool Fire” to “I’m So Happy I Could Cry”, the band balance blues-soaked grit with restraint, creating a sound that feels uneasy and deeply nocturnal.
Across 14 tracks, Black Milk captures a murky, reflective chapter in the Beasts’ catalogue. “Blue Stranger”, “Execution Day” and “Rest In Peace” carry that shadowy mood through to the final grooves.
