Recorded at Amsterdam’s Paradiso in 1987 during the I Against I tour, The Youth Are Getting Restless captures Bad Brains in their natural environment: live, urgent and operating at full intensity. Recorded for Dutch broadcaster VPRO, the performance showcases the band’s explosive fusion of hardcore punk, reggae and heavy rock.
This reissue forms part of the restoration and remastering campaign developed by Org Music in coordination with the band, while also marking the relaunch of the Bad Brains Records imprint. The original recordings were restored and remastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering, with the vinyl manufactured by Furnace Record Pressing.
