Ambiguous Desire is the third studio album from Mercury Prize-winning artist Arlo Parks, marking a bold and expansive evolution in her sound and storytelling. Drawing inspiration from late-night spaces and the freedom of the dancefloor, the album explores identity, connection and self-discovery with a newfound sense of confidence and emotional openness.

Written between Los Angeles, London and New York, Ambiguous Desire channels the energy of underground clubs, intimate friendships and fleeting encounters. Across its 12 tracks, Parks blends her signature poetic lyricism with influences spanning UK garage, electronic, indie pop and soulful experimentation, creating a sound that feels both intimate and rhythmically vibrant.

Songs like “Get Go,” “Beams,” and “Senses” (featuring Sampha) showcase her ability to balance vulnerability with euphoric, groove-led production, while tracks such as “Floette” and “Heaven” embrace themes of self-acceptance, queerness and emotional release.
