Aphex Twin Classics

Undoubtedly one of the most important and influential electronic artists to have emerged in popular music, Aphex Twin—the sonic misfit from Cornwall—released a breathtaking slew of singles and albums from 1991 onwards (and continues to this day). The first clutch of groundbreaking works appeared on the legendary Belgian label R&S Records and were collected on the compilation album Classics, released in 1995, following the global success of the timeless Selected Ambient Works 85–92.

Classics receives a long-overdue vinyl and CD re-press for 2025, featuring a fresh vinyl cut by acclaimed mastering engineer Beau Thomas. Each LP sleeve includes an R&S Records sticker sheet with cover artwork from the two singles Digeridoo and Xylem Tube EP, both of which are featured on this landmark compilation.
