Alabama Shakes I Must Be Dreaming

I Must Be Dreaming is the first new album from Alabama Shakes in more than a decade, following their acclaimed 2015 album Sound & Color.

Produced by Alabama Shakes with returning collaborator Shawn Everett, the album was recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio. Building on the fearless experimentation of its predecessor, I Must Be Dreaming moves towards a viscerally charged form of psychedelic soul.

While retaining the band’s signature intensity, these songs venture into lush and otherworldly territory, revealing an increasingly assured command of atmosphere, space and emotion.
