Don’t Die Before You’re Dead is the third studio album from West London rapper AJ Tracey, balancing moments of vulnerability with the confidence, energy and sharp wordplay that have defined his rise.
Inspired by personal upheaval and a renewed determination to embrace life, the album moves between introspective storytelling, club-ready production, grime and melodic UK rap. “3rd Time Lucky” reflects on his mother’s recovery from cancer, while tracks such as “Second Nature,” “Chat Rooms” and “West Life” showcase his rhythmic versatility and charismatic delivery.
The album features an impressive group of collaborators, including Jorja Smith on “Crush,” Nemzzz on “Talking Stage,” Aitch and Headie One on “Friday Prayer,” and Master Peace on the indie-pop-influenced closer “Red Wine.” Big Zuu, D7, Ets and Wax also join AJ Tracey on “Paid In Full.”
This Indie Exclusive edition is presented across two Midnight Blue Sparkle Vinyl LPs.
